Intersections 28 - ReWeave x Kari Kroll

Created by Kari Kroll in collaboration with ReWeave, this one-of-a-kind textile artwork layers slender ivory, brown, and navy ribbons over a rich terracotta botanical fabric. Fine grids and flowing woven motifs contrast with a dark blue strip traced by a delicate diamond pattern, while glimpses of ochre and muted green paint frame the composition. Frayed edges and cascading lengths add sculptural depth, bringing reclaimed textiles together in a warm, expressive study of pattern and texture.
